Skill #1: Realistic Drawing
Ultimately, being able to draw and put into paper what you can see, feel or imagine is a fantastic skill to have as a budding fine artist.
Skill#2: Constructive Drawing
Constructive drawing, in essence, is the ability to draw what you know or what you can imagine. We master this skill, we can easily "build" objects in our artwork so they look realistic and believable.
Skill#3: Drawing from life
While there is nothing wrong drawing from photos or pictures, it's amazing to create life and draw from life - the ultimate source of all inspiration!
Skill#4: Draw from imagination and memory
If you want to be a proficient artist, draw what you know and can imagine! They say drawing from imagination is hard, but we bet to disagree.
There are two kinds of memories - active and passive memory.
Active memory is keeping information you've once received and having every intention of keeping it.
Passive memory is more of a read-only. Unlike your active memories, it takes a lot of effort to store passive memories in your mind. The memory may stay there, but you don't have direct access to it.
Skill#5: Skillfull knowledge of art materials and its use
This is pretty much a basic skill when you think about it. Just like a baker knows what tools to use at the right moment, we know what the correct art materials to use to create a particular artistic output.
Skill#6: Skills in composition
Composition is the arrangement of all the visual elements in our artwork. It's about putting all together what we know and can do in creating our masterpiece.
Artistic elements like shapes, line, color, depth, texture and form can be arranged in a particular manner.

Skill#7: Skill in proportions
Being a fantastic, budding fine artist is all about making fantastic human heads, faces and bodies. Our knowledge in proportions is a skill very critical to our growth.
Skill#8: Color theory and techniques
Of course, as a budding potential in fine arts, we master colour theory and techniques. We are capable doing multicolored works and being able to mix colors with accuracy will definitely pay off well.
